Not The First NorThe Last

Egyptian conspiracy theory writer Anis El-Digdy has announced that he will run for Presidency in a surprising announcement considering the fact that most of the Egyptian people have not heard about him in their life.
The 50 years old writer who was graduated from the cinema institute wrote about 49 book mostly about conspiracy theories like for instance "Saddam has not be executed, Suzanne Tamim murder, the confessions of Jihan El-Sadat …etc"
El-Digdy spoke about his candidacy on Al Jazeera Channel this afternoon ,good luck for him but I think he should not trash Mohamed ElBaradei because comparing to him I trust ElBaradei more as a voter even if he lived outside Egypt for decades , I do not trust a screenplay writer and conspiracy theorist even if he lives in Egypt.
I will respect El-Digdy as a considered Egyptian who believes he can do something to his country but I am sure other Egyptians will consider him an attention media seeker who looks for more lights distracting our efforts.
I know that El-Digdy will not be the first attention seeker in the coming elections especially with all the controversy surrounding it and surely he will not be the last still I hate distractions.

  1. Im sure the regime will be pushing several persons to run for the elections as an indirect way of making a mockery of an important matter.

I loved what Amr Adeeb mentioned that El Baradi is relying on something I've never heard before "the Egyptian ppl". Such a meaningful statement, painful to each one of us who knows how we've always went for the safer side of life and decided for years to be just silent seeing the corruption and the country being run down but at the same time a reminder that we in the end are the key players not any names, figures or regimes.
