Flotilla Follow Up : IAra Lee's Footage "Graphic discretion Is advised"

Here is 15 minutes from IARA Lee's footage from Mavi Marmara which she released  yesterday in the UN. "Graphic discretion is advised"

Israeli Attack on the Mavi Marmara, May 31st 2010 // 15 min. from Cultures of Resistance on Vimeo. You can read Lee's testimony here.

If I am not mistaken you can see our Egyptian MP Dr.Farouk trying to medically treat some of the injured.

By the way Israeli hasbara media machine or whatever is called is claiming that the flotilla did not include aids , it was only on its way to make trouble .. etc , this fine but is not the blockade on Gaza is much more worse and wrong from the moral view and from the legal view !!? The People in Gaza do not need chocolate , they need medical help , they need houses , they power for God Sake. Those who say that if the activists were serious , they would bring the aids through Israel , forgot that they are serious they will be against this illegal blockade in the first place !!

  1. Dear Zeinobia, I know it is easier to blame Israel for all evils under the sun, but if the border between Gaza and Egypt was open, there would be no blockade. Nobody suspects Egypt of being overly friendly towards Israel, so there must be a very strong reason for Oum ed Dinia to do so.

  2. What exactly are you claiming this video shows, Zeinobia? It cuts from the helicopters being overhead and the IDF guys rapelling down to a guy saying two IDF soldiers had been dragged below decks, bleeding and wounded. There's nothing on here which proves your claim that the violence was initiated by the IDF.

  3. in this video:

    1. Shows the IDF soldiers came on board the Flotilla ship without permission on international water at very early morning!

    2. Show the activists without knives, weapon of
destruction to kill the IDF soldiers except sling shot and sticks on their hands.

    3. Shows two IDF soldiers being treated by the people on board not letting them died like the IDF soldiers did to people of this boat for 3 hours despite their pleas in 3 different languages.

    4. shows the IDF soldiers were shooting using real bullets and injuring so many activist without weapons though the IDF claimed they are using only pinball guns!

    5. Shows the IDF soldier or Israel military are on military action not peaceful act to stop the ship as the claimed!

so many can be seen thru' this video! if you still cant see it either you are blind or totally ignorance!

  4. "1. Shows the IDF soldiers came on board the Flotilla ship without permission on international water at very early morning!"

Which they were legally entitled and in fact obligated to do, as they were enforcing a military blockade.

"2. Show the activists without knives, weapon of
destruction to kill the IDF soldiers except sling shot and sticks on their hands."

The video was shot from 3 decks down from where the IDF was landing, and did not show anything that was happening on the top deck. What was happening on the top deck is clear for all to see in the video the IDF provided, though, and it's pretty obvious the two sets of video were shot at the same time and show the same scene from different different perspectives. So Zeinobia's claim that the IDF fired upon the vessel before landing soldeirs from the helicopters has been proven wrong by this video. IDF is not firing on that vessel.

"3. Shows two IDF soldiers being treated by the people on board not letting them died like the IDF soldiers did to people of this boat for 3 hours despite their pleas in 3 different languages."

So it's OK to beat soldiers or police, steal their equipment and take them hostage, so long as some medical care for their wounds (which you inflicted!) is provided? That's absurd.

"4. shows the IDF soldiers were shooting using real bullets and injuring so many activist without weapons though the IDF claimed they are using only pinball guns!"

The video has a big piece missing, as I pointed out. It goes directly from the IDF guys roping down from the helicopters, to two IDF guys being held hostage below decks. There is no video showing what happened which resulted in those IDF soldiers being captured by terrorists.

"5. Shows the IDF soldier or Israel military are on military action not peaceful act to stop the ship as the claimed!"

They were attacked by terrorists before they had a chance to demonstrate what their intentions were. That was cut from this video, but is shown in the IDF video.

You know your version of the narrative is a lie. This video doesn't help make your case. It destroys your case.

  5. By the way, I resent having to waste 15 minutes of my time watching that video just to verify it didn't show any of the things that the homicidal peace activists claimed it showed. Are you folks really incapable of recognizing what's really happening even when you see it with your own eyes on video? You just accept whatever you are TOLD is happening, instead of the evidence of your own eyes? Your situation is hopeless, because you are hopeless cases. So stop blaming the US, Israel, the West and everyone/everything else. The problem is you.

  6. @expat
Egypt keeps its border closed at request of the US, who sends them billions of dollars of aid every year to make sure they continue to do so. This US policy is most likely pushed for by Israeli lobbies like AIPAC.

    @programmer craig
Your Israeli apologist garbage is a joke. Israeli illegally bordered a vessel in international waters and killed nine people. How you can even start trying to justify that is disgraceful. If Israel was justified in their use of force, why don't they release all the footage they're keeping locked up, rather than tiny selectively chosen and edited clips?
